July Rainy Rides Give Way to Hot Summer Rides in August

Yes it's hot across the Ozarks this summer, but so are the rides. Don't let the heat and humidity keep you from the greatest roads in America! Check out our new ride maps at CruiseTheOzarks.com/ridemaps before you set out on your next motorcycle journey.

We're less than two weeks away from hosting the charity bike show at the upcoming Birthplace of Route 66 Festival in Springfield, MO. We're excited to meet you if you decide to attend (and why not.... there's plenty of live music, vintage bikes and autos, great food and fun!) Look for us in the Motorcycle Village. The bike show proceeds benefit local vets. Register now to show off your bike and possibly win some great prizes to boot. Go to: Route 66 Charity Bike Show Info to learn more and pre-register today.

July rains may have stopped some riders from exploring the Ozarks, but not everyone. We've noticed large groups cruising the main roads, and we have also seen bikes parked at great stops along the way. That's what Cruise The Ozarks is about: helping you find the best places to stop as you enjoy the best of the Ozarks.

And, don't forget to let us know of any new items to add to our 'Things To Do' page. We've updated that page recently with some fun August events. Let us know if we've missed some; send your notices to: publisher@cruisetheozarks.com.

Finally, the next issue of 'Cruise News' is on its way shortly. Stay tuned!
